Wow! What a post. I agree with you about the timeframe for setting up the procedure over here (which means HM is pretty much a reality now) and also the fact that this is good news.

Regarding looking at truth and eternal death, etc., you're right about that, too. Truth is the most important thing there is (and yes, there is an eternal life to live, I believe). Sorry to hear about your experience with the doctors, but I'm glad you're through it all now. And it does get life back into perspective when it comes to what is important. Silly statement, I know, coming from a poster in a forum on getting our hair back, but I think we all know that losing something we always had does effect us, whether we want to kid ourselves or not. I count my blessings daily and I'm basically upbeat about things even though my changing appearance does get me down from time to time. Looking at research, though, and our potential to get back most of what we lost (after all, we're not asking for plastic surgery to be supermodels, just our hair back that we always had), it helps me stay positive.

I'm sure that some of the guys from this forum (Benny?) will go over to the Netherlands to get this done before the 5 year span is up. I look forward to pictures, too, which I'm sure will be forthcoming.

Here's to hanging in there in the meantime,
