I have been using propecia for 16 monthes. I am pleased with my results. I started with diffuse thinning on top with a very thin area in the back. My regrowth can be described as moderate/good after 11 months. There was periods where my hair seemed to get worse;namely at initiation of treatment and at about 6 months. My hair is never goig to be as thick as it was when I was 17 but the relults I have attained have exceded my expectations.When my hair is dry my thining areas are only visible on the closest inspection. I do realize that not everyone responds to Propecia but it is worth trying .It may take some time to see results. My hair has been thinning for 11 years and my hair look like it did 6 years ago. I intend to use Propecia until something better comes along. just my 2 cents P.S. I have no affiliation with the makers of propecia.
