Drug induced hair loss (Accutane)

I am a 21 year old male who was taking Accutane (isotretinoin), for 5 months, to treat Acne. After finishing the treatment, my hair started dumping. It has been 8 months since I stopped using accutane, and atleast 60%-70% of my hair is gone. In a well lighted room you can see right through to the scalp, all over my head. It is not falling out in a male pattern baldness fashion, rather diffused all over, like a chemo patient. The hair on my eyebrows, arms, and legs, and rest of my body has been decimated as well.

I have had many blood tests done and they indicate my body is functioning normally. No thyroid disease, or anything else. I have been taking hair growth vitamins such as Biotin , MSM, and E, to try to reverse my condition, but nothing has helped.

What accutane probably did was damage the keretin producing cells in my skin, so that my hair is either falling out, or growing barely a millimeter out of the surface before dying. I am looking for something to regenerate those hair cells, as this is certainly not a genetic condition. I was never meant to go bald, no one in my family ever had baldness, Accutane must have done this to me.

Can anyone give me some direction as to what to do? I am so desperate to get my hair back. DHT reducing drugs will have no effect on my condition, as my hair follicles aren't programmed to die from DHT. So propecia, and rogaine wont even help. Are there any drugs out there that can help me ?

thanks

Brian

P.S. Would hair multiplication work for someone with my condition?
