Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the US Patent Office issued Patent
Number 6,458,841 to Dr. Eric Fossel for an invention which promotes
hair growth through a revolutionary new pathway. While there
are many factors involved in hair loss, one fundamental aspect has,
until now, been neglected. In order for hair to grow it needs to
receive nutrients from the circulating blood. It has long been
reported that men with baldness have substantially lower scalp blood
flow than men with full heads of hair.
Dr. Fossel's invention is a transdermal system that delivers the
amino acid, L-Arginine across the scalp. L-Arginine is
the precursor to the substance which controls local blood flow,
nitric oxide. The application of this transdermal system, known as
ACTIVE-aRg(TM), restores the normal blood circulation in the scalp.
Once this is restored, the nutrients required for hair growth are
again available to the hair follicles and the growth of hair is
restored.
The patent, issued to Dr. Fossel, has been licensed to Strategic
Science & Technologies, Inc. and is an additional plank in the
core technology platform of the company. The company holds
licenses to other patents covering the ACTIVE-aRg(TM) technology
including 5,895,658; 5,922,443 and 6,207,713. The company
offers a product containing this technology, GROW!(TM) for the
promotion of hair growth. In addition to this product, the

for increasing female breast size and firmness, increasing female
