In a move designed to create the world's first comprehensive hair loss treatment company, Bosley Medical of Beverly Hills, California, announced today that it has been acquired by the world's leading hair systems manufacturer, Aderans Co., Ltd., of Tokyo, Japan (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 8170).

With 43 offices in the U.S. and Canada, Bosley Medical is recognized internationally as the leading provider of hair transplantation services. Founded in 1974 by hair restoration pioneer L. Lee Bosley, M.D., Bosley Medical has developed and perfected many of the surgical and artistic techniques that make today's hair transplantation results virtually undetectable.

Ohanesian also pointed out that Bosley Medical's established history of high quality patient care and operational and marketing expertise will be a powerful addition to Aderans' international network of manufacturing facilities and hair systems dealers.  "The addition of Bosley Medical to the Aderans family of companies will help Aderans reach its goal of broadening its business scope to become a comprehensive hair care and hair loss solution provider -- beyond wigs and hairpieces, to include surgical and medical services," said Ohanesian.

Dr. Bosley will continue to perform hair restoration procedures in the Beverly Hills office.  "I will continue to be involved in the training of newly affiliated and existing MD's and will continue in my role as chief spokesperson for the company," stated Dr. Bosley.  In addition, Dr. Bosley will provide business and medical consultative services and, for an interim period, continue to function as Medical Director -- until a new permanent Chief Medical Officer is appointed.

Mr. Ohanesian continues as President of Bosley Medical and also assumes the position of Chief Executive Officer.  All other management team members remain in place.  The company will continue to market its services under the name Bosley Medical, and be headquartered in Beverly Hills
