Arcon Tisane is a dietary supplement
from Germany. Most people in UK and Europe are familiar with Arcon Tisane
but it is not very well known in the U.S.
The key ingredients in Arcon Tisane are Fenugreek and Saw Palmetto.
Fenugreek
is a commonly available herb used mostly in India and other parts of Asia.
Fenugreek is one of those herbs that people use for all sorts of
conditions, eg: swollen glands, pain, indigestion, stomach pain,
constipation, sore throat and hair loss. It is suggested that Fenugreek
helps baldness by stimulating blood circulation to hair follicles. Some

effectiveness of Saw Palmetto, clinical studies for Fenugreek in relation
to hair loss are almost non-existent.
According to a certain press release, Arcon Tisane was developed at the
Helsinki University. This treatment was discovered accidentally by a
doctor who prepared an herbal remedy for bronchitis and chronic chest
infection. It was reported that while taking the remedy for six months,
the doctor noticed hair growth on previously bald patches on his head.
Arcon Tisane is marketed as an all natural alternative to Rogaine and
Propecia. It is suggested that Fenugreek stimulate blood circulation
similar to Rogaine while Saw Palmetto reduces DHT like Propecia does.
While HairSite is in no position to pass judgment here, we do wish to
caution and remind our readers that Helsinki University is also the origin
of the once famous Helsinki Formula for hair loss which eventually turns
out to be ineffective for baldness. Also, we have come across some of
Arcon Tisane's press releases and we are certain that the story of Arcon
Tisane will not pass the scrutiny of HairSite's readers regardless of its
effectiveness. Many would find the story too fabricated and bear striking
resemblance of how other hair loss products are presented over and over
again.
We do not deny the effectiveness of Saw Palmetto. But if you wish to try
Arcon Tisane, perhaps it would be more economical to purchase Saw Palmetto
and Fenugreek separately from your local health food stores. Both Saw
Palmetto and Fenugreek are very popular and are easy to locate in health
food stores. For example, a 1-month supply of Arcon Tisane costs well over
US $60.00 while a 1-month of Dr. Razack Natrecia Saw Palmetto formula
costs less than US $20 a month.
