| The
photo below was taken in 11-02.This was prior to my work with Drs.
Woods and Campbell. You may notice the overly symmetrical hairline
that I have mentioned. In addition, the bad ridging problem on
both sides seems to elongate the hairline and make some of the bad
minis stand out even more at the sides. There is also some
previous scarring from the prior poor graft work.

The second photo
(see below) was taken by Doug Kline of Hasson and Wong. (Note the
famous blue background wall). This was taken on 8-28-03. I was 5
1/2 months out from my procedures in Australia. This shape of the
hairline has been improved and I am beginning to undue some of the
hurdles that I face. I still am not a finished product and have a
ways to go. A side by side comparison of the photos may better
illustrate the strides made. I would like more density in the
widowspeak and will address this in future. Also there were many
other issues (laxity, hair orientation, scalp reduction, scarring
,cobblestoning, ridging, scar grafting, etc) and other areas that
were also worked on. Since this photo was taken, the hairs have
thickened and grown longer for better coverage.
As repair
patients are well aware of, this is an incremental process and the
reclamation can take some time. Unfortunately, as repair patients
we can't have the amazing transformations that we are starting to
grow accustom to seeing now performed on some virgin scalps on the
forums. Still, it is a step in right direction.

Below
is a close-up. There are a few 2's in there as I mentioned
previously upon my visit to Hasson and Wong back on Labor Day
weekend. (late August-beginning of Sept) A few in there are not out
of the queston, but I would hope in future that more aggressive
trimming of the grafts would limit this. The yield was never in
question and placement was rated above average by Drs. Hasson and
Wong at the time.
