David, thanks for meeting me. I have attached a few shoots of the
repair complete. As you know, Dr. Bernstein has suggested a second
repair but I don’t know if I will do it yet until I see the outcome of
this first one. These pictures were just taken after I cleaned the
scalp of blood. Let me know if these work for you or I you need
better ones.

It's me J. How are you? Hope all is well with you. Well, it's been about 2 months now since my repair with Dr. Bernstein. So far I noticed lots of scaring and regrowth from some of the supposedly removed grafts. I don't know if it's from the repair or my previous surgery. Maybe I can see it more now because I'm missing more hair, not sure but I don't remember it being so bad.
Anyway, with that situation in mind, I decided to do some more research on Dr's. I found one here in Miami (by accident when I went to have my sutures removed from the repair). So I decided to have a consultation with this guy to see what he was about. Well, to make a long story short, I just had surgery with him 2 weeks ago. I have to say that I was finding it impossible to believe those before and after pictures until now. The results are amazing and he even used my existing
scarred donor area (which Dr. Bernstein told me was not possible) from my 2nd surgery and implanted grafts on my 1st surgery scar. So far, the recipient area is holding strong and it has shed a little
even though it is expected to fall out. I can't wait to see what the final results will be like in a few months. I'm very excited and I can honestly say, he did a heck of a job. No need to fly to NY. I will send you picture in a few months when it grows out.

David, I would say about a 6-7 only on the repair performed. Mainly because maybe I didn't give it enough time, but I know that according to him, they should have not grown back after the repair but he did also recommend a second repair which was not necessary according to this other
doctor (Dr. Epstein) who told me I can use the existing grafts for density since the hairline would be recreated lower and it would camouflage them . I'm sure his transplants are much higher quality and I would recommend him to anyone including myself.
I had approx 1600 grafts transplanted (by Dr. Epstein) and should take about 3-4 months to grow. I'll send you pic's once it grows out.
