Reprint of Hardwo0d's post in Topical Forum:

Well this post is more of a Thank you than anything else. Here is a recap of the last 10 Months...

Well, like some of the posters here is was extremely ecstatic with the release of Avodart. If you go back in the Avodart forum before its release, I was one of the main guys that was hyping it up - it failed me miserably. I went from a NW1 - to a NW 2 or more in a 5 month period. I spoke with David a few times over the phone and he was the one that commented that it might be the Avodart, so in April I dropped it. (Best move I ever made)

Pure curiosity led me to try T3 and to this day I thank God that I did. I have a FULL head of hair. Not partial, not full with a spot or with receding. FULL HEAD OF HAIR. Oh and not vellous or wispy or thin. Thick and nice. After the three month mark I had a bit of a shed, but the "Frizz Mix" GS+ALA+MSM stopped the shedding. People should really start thinking outside the box and "discuss with your doctor about alternatives". I know I have and it has helped me.

Comments:

This has been the best part throughout my journey to regaining my hair. This past week two GOOD looking girls came up to me and said can I run my fingers through your hair? Then 1 of the 2 said that she loved my hair. This one girl that was on leave came back and said "Hey there is something different about you" I said "Oh yeah, what is that?" she said" I don't know I cant make it out, do you dye your hair, it seems a lot darker" I said " Oh no that is a new shampoo that I am using" ha ha

Wrapping up:

I have been a LONG time member of
HairSite and a good friend of David Tse. I know some of you guys might think that I am blowing smoke up your ass, but I will post pictures soon to end all those fears. I have all the hair that I had before I started losing it. My hair is thick and dark and I shed maybe 1 or 2 hairs a day. I would like to thank David for making all of this possible and having such a great site where people are free to discuss their problems and seek new solutions to this disease. I would also like to thank Frizz, because he thinks outside the box and is always looking for new avenues to explore. If it were not for people like him I would not be here posting this. Hopefully many will follow in my footsteps and regain all their hair back too.

HairSite:

These are some pictures I took of myself. Please post them on the site for people to use. My regimen is 62.5 mg Flutamide, 50mg Spironolactone, and 5 mg Finasteride per day. I use minoxidil freely, but I try to use 2 ml per day.

Thanks.
