Welcome! It's a great place to be; ironically, though...I think that none of us would choose to be here if we didn't need to be!
I see that Dawn has replied to your post already, and I think Michelle has, too, so I'm going to spare you for the moment as I trust those girls to give you some great help.
I'm more the 'emotional' type who would just like to say that I'm so sorry that you, as a mother, have got to go through this...and with a 12 year old, no less! It won't be easy, but it certainly is something you can deal with. Unfortunately, we tend to resist things that we don't WANT to deal with, huh? However! As mothers we have no choice; our children's problems are our own; so my heart goes out to you.
There are a couple of other Mom's on this site whose daughters have lost lashes. Are you able to access any of our Forums 1-3, by any chance? You would be wise to go through them (so tedious, yet very informative) and maybe you can get a better picture of what's going on.
I'm sorry you and your daughter must endure this! You came to the right place, though. By process of elimination and all of our collective experiences, you'll have an easier time cutting through the crap and getting to the 'power point'...That's the point where you're armed with info, and you go to a doctor UNWILLING to simply take what they have to say as 'gospel'. You'll have the ammo to really fight for your daughter, so for that reason, I'm glad you're here!
