I looked at the Niferex box this week after I got back from Chicago and each tablet contains 50 mg of elemental iron. I'm only taking one tablet a day (per doctor's suggestion). How many mg of elemental iron are you taking? The box says adults can take 1 or 2 tablets twice daily - so that means you could take up to 200 mg of iron a day.
Two of the inactive ingredients are castor oil and polyethylene glycol which maybe help make this iron tablet less constipating.
