Frontal loss?  TE or AGA????  How to tell without Dr. in area who knows

Please help, no derm in area. If I have more hair loss in the front, does that mean it's AGA or can bang area loss be from Chronic TE. I have many causes of chronic TE and much scalp discomfort. Also, hair has started growing in in all areas except the very apex of my very sore head--sore where hair is thinnest. Any ideas? I got our local doc to check ferritin a long time ago and it needed elevation at 25. But it fot up there quite a bit and it's slow to return on top after hormone replacement changes, etc. HELP please. My spouse says even he is worrying about me cuz I'm just so down. Alaskagal
