Hi. I saw my doctor today. Regarding iron she has really deferred to what I have read and shared about iron stores needing to be at least 70. I'll be taking Ferrous Sulfate 2x a day w/lysine and C and recheck in 6 months.
She wanted me to stop the Spironolactone I just started as I had an immediate period (within 3 hours) and it has not abated for 2 weeks. I don't like being without a plan but am trying to be patient....she is checking with her peers about Proscar as she has never prescribed it. We'll see.Do you do well on Proscar without side effects?
