Hi Dallas, I don't remember ever being this depressed. I've really hit rock bottom. I'm scared of going bald. I have even asked my husband for a separation. I know this sounds crazy, but I have to pretend all day that I am happy for my kids and when they finally go to sleep at night I just want to be sad and cry and this is impossible to do with my husband around. I hate this hair thing so much!! When my hair stopped falling out for those few weeks I was so happy - nothing upset me. I was able to sleep again a night - It was great! I did try rogaine a few years ago, but stopped after a few weeks I couldn't take the increased shedding. What was your ferritin? Do you eat alot of steak/red meat with orange juice? This really increased my feritin, even more than the pills. Also, did you have any hair shedding before taking that hormone medication that idiot dr. prescribed for you? I use to have incredibly thick hair, black long curls, but now people look at me and think what is up with my hair. I'm glad I don't live close to my family anymore because they use to make fun of the way my hair looked - like I could help it. My hair is really dry and tangled all the time - in addition to being thin. I keep thinking about getting a hair piece but I think the clips would bother my head.
